We had an amazing experience exploring the rain-forest around San Ignacio. The guides, especially Damian, Agusto, and Wilton, made our adventures unforgettable with their knowledge and friendliness. The family suite was spacious enough for my kids, and the views from the lodge were stunning.
My wife wanted a microwave in our room.

I had an incredible two nights at the lodge! The food was fabulous, with each meal feeling like a surprise. They accommodated all dietary restrictions. I loved the cozy Executive Suite that felt like a home away from home! However, the lack of a microwave was a bit of a bummer. I would definitely choose this place again!

We visited the Inland Blue Hole National Park for a refreshing swim and explored the subtropical broadleaf forest for some epic hikes. Special shoutout to our tour guides, Damian, Agusto, and Wilton, who were super friendly. The lodge made sure we were comfortable after long days, providing a cozy atmosphere and excellent service.
One little letdown was that some of the outdoor evening activities had to be canceled due to the rainy season, which was a bummer, but overall, it didn't ruin our experience.

clean cabins, interesting wildlife sightings, small pool
No coffee maker or microwave in the room!!! Breakfast prices are ridiculously inflated!!! The location feels quite isolated, making access to nearby attractions more troublesome than anticipated!!! The management seems inflexible with changes in plans!!!

The Deluxe Quadruple Room was super spacious and comfy! Loved the A/C after long jungle hikes. The shower was awesome, with great water pressure. Plus, it had a nice porch where we could chill and enjoy nature. Only thing that bummed me out was no coffee maker in the room. Other than that, it was a nice place to unwind after our adventures!

Mariposa Jungle Lodge is an excellent base for exploring the lush Cayo area. The staff provided exceptional personalized attention, planning enjoyable activities like visits to local swimming spots. The cabana was well-maintained and offered a comfortable experience. Fresh and delightful meals were served, making dining convenient since there are limited options nearby. The hiking trails and bird-watching tower added to the overall relaxing atmosphere.
The remote location may require careful planning for access to nearby attractions.

The setting was exquisite, nestled in lush surroundings that enhanced the tranquil vibe. The food consistently impressed, especially the homemade ice cream. The remote location provided an escape, although access to nearby attractions required some planning and effort. While the cabins were clean and well-equipped, the small pool could benefit from some improvement. Staff assistance was commendable in arranging tours, adding value to the experience.
